We have developed several new approaches for personalized screening programs to improve public health. The ability to identify those at increased risk based on their genotype has immediate clinical relevance, as it allows for tailored prevention or screening strategies.

In case of breast, prostate, colorectal cancer and melanoma, the combined effects of many single nucleotides provide different disease risk levels, enabling to implement them in population-based prevention and early detection programs.
